Considering your substrate is marbles you could make a cave with marbles. Get either a glass or a NEW clay pot and start by using that as a base for your cave. Use aquarium safe silicon. Remember let it cure. I let mine cure for at least a week before putting it in with my betta. I usually get a clay pot and tie base of java moss around it with black thread and then attach either a piece of pennywort to it or a java fern.

cool, what do you mean by using the marbles? as in siliconing hte marbles to the pot so it can blend in? sounds like a good idea

Go for the blue peter approch, and use a plastic tub!
Cut out an entrance, and hide it with vallis and other plants. You can even cut holes in and weave the plants through.

Basically, anything that has held food could be considered safe for a tank.

One problem... my tank is a 2 gal hex though its pretty small, so id guess ihad pull out hte ugf intake tube which i dont use, but my bettas bubblenest is around it(it made one covering hte area) and im scared to wreck it the last one iwreck(his 1st one yesterday during water change) made him lethargic, so i need to think small lol

Either you can silicon the marbles right to the clay pot or you can do a mason type of thing and use the flat marbles like brick. It is much easier to silicon the marbles to the pot.
