what would be a good bunch of plants

mmmm just lookin at posts and started to wonder, as i want live plants in this tank. so what would be a good assorted bunch from low-high lighted? also if this helps to know what kind, im planin on have gouramis lots of them, corys, ottos , danios,gups, platies,rainbow fishes, and maybe tetras. oh and sanded will be!
