What Will Survive? Jewel Rekord 70?

Hi, i am hopefully getting a Jewel Rekord 70. Woo!!

The fish shop advisor told me about how certain plants need more light, and certain tanks have certain amounts of light so you have a choice of only a few plants- on that sort of guidelines anyway! From what i saw, the tank had one light bar inside. I was wondering if anyone with a rekord 70 has successfully managed to create a variety planted tank and also what plants can survive, and can't survive with the light power of a Rekord. Oh, and will I desperately need C02? And can anyone work tell me the WPG of a Rekord 70 light?

Ive got the rekord 80 so its pritty similar, i grew java fern in it without any trouble. Then upgraded it by adding an extra light unit It'll probably be 1WPG so look for plants that can live in low light.

You can grow anything in any size tank. All you need to do is upgrade your lighting , get good substrate inject a bit of c02 and dose. Easy peasy! All about research and avilable funding!

thanks, so if my lamp is probably going to be 1WPG then i shouldn't buy high light-needing plants? could anyone also name a few simple plants? also how much does upgrading cost? oh, and sorry to ask more questions but is CO2 extremely necessary if i'm after one of these super looking planted tanks i see on here? any information is helpful!

CO2 isn't necassary but will help if you add it.
