What Type Of Tank Do You Guys Perfer

Which type of aquariums do you guys perfer and why?

every1 likes acrilic more but its what u can find, what u can buy or what u r willing to pay for
a)lighter
b)stronger
c)clearer
d)more resiliant
e)flexible
f)better insulated

Acrylic is more likely to get discoloured over time though .... Still, acrylic is good (my small tank is made of it)

Glass.
-Cheaper
-Doesn't scratch as easily
-I just plain old like it

Glass is less easily scratched, thus I prefer it. I have both though and can't complain about the acrylic either.

Like said glass doesn't scratch as easy, where I live you would have to get a tank custom made to get it made in acrylic which would cost more, glass tanks are cheaper, and more durable. Plus I just plain old like it.

glass. durable, dont have to worry about scratching it, cheap, i know it wont fail, and i dont have to have special cleaning stuff to clean it

Acrylic is insanely expensive in the size tanks i have so unless i win the lottery its glass all the way.

Glass every time. Acrylic is plain ugly (IMO ), expensive, hardr to come by and easily scratched although it can be made into interesting shapes it will always look tacky (IMO again obviosuly ).

For small tanks like my betta ones, acrylic is great but when I get a bigger one it will be glass. I am a klutz and would probably put a nice big scratch across the front of an acrylic.

I think small to medium tanks are best in glass. But huge tanks are best in acrylic. Just my 2c.
