Now that I'm a proud owner of a much larger tank than I'm used to I don't know how to manage water changes and syhoning. I have a 10 gal and I'm moving to a 180 litre. I've been reading here about hoses but I'm boggled. Can someone advise me on the type of hose to get and how wide should the opening be? Also is it easy to find an attachment to fit the hose and tap? Is it easy to syphon poo from sand using said hose? I want to have my tools in place. Thanks guys. :good:

I used to use just a normal garden hose, but moved to a clear one. this is the one i use now It fits all the hozelock coonectors in case u want to make a diy python. I got sand in my tank and it picks the fish waste up very well

That looks good Dan. What's a python?
