Will probably grow up to kick the living day lights out of anything else if they are like any tropheus i know.

I had a customer show me photos after they returned a tropheus that killed her Adult Oscar and a 14" silver arrowana. Why she had them together i dont know but it was one nasty fish, ended up picking its last last fight with a red devil.

seems like this little fish is a devil, read somewhere they are nasty, but not as nasty as most tropheus, but isnt that said about every last fish you keep until it kills something.

your meant to keep them in groups of a dozen to split the aggression and that they live in collinies. you might find one may pick on the other. leilupi should be fine

I don't claim to know much about Tanganyikans, but if this Tropheus species is like the Moori Morillos, they need to be in a group in the region of 10+ to spread the aggression.

I tend to scour the adverts at "aquarist classified" randomly (not looking for anything in particular, although it did lead to me getting a 540l for £51 a fotnight ago) most days and came across an ad for someone selling ~20 duboisi youngsters...

which might be of use to you ;)

It is still in it's juvi colours which will give way to going nearly all black with a wide blue vertical stripe just behind the gills.

I had a real nasty one but he was got as a fully developed adult. By yours being a juvi it should grow up and tolerate it's tank mates but he will become dominant. Some people keep them singly with Malawi and they behave, mine was just too mean for my Tanganyikans.
