Hey guys,

I would like to know the exact scientific/non-scientific names of the following cichlids (pictures included).

Sorry if any of the pictures are of low quality.

From the research I've done on the web I think that the first picture shows an albino greshakei, the second I'm not sure, third is a jewel cichlid but not sure of which type (I read that there are many) and the last is an acei, not sure what type though (black tanzanian possibly?)

EDIT: You can click the pictures to make them bigger. If they are still too small just tell me, I will upload bigger photos.

Thanks a lot ! =)

1st pic - Psuedotropheus Zebra Albino (male)
2nd pic - Maylandia Callainos (female)
3rd pic - Jewel (probably male)
4th pic - Need a better pic

That pic is much better but to be honest, i'm not sure on that one. Does the colouration vary on that fish? Does it get lighter/darker or diplay any other colours?

No, this is what the fish always looks like.
It is all black. A few months back it did have a yellow stripe on its dorsal fin but that soon faded away. Not sure why. The fish doesn't look stressed.

As for the white 'things' you see on the fish I don't know. It doesn't look like a disease but rather something caused by rubbing against a rock.

Is it as black as it looks in the photo or a dark blue?

the white marks are from battles, he's getting beat up and it will no doubt get worse, whats your plan for making him safe???

Lately I have added many more rocks in the aquarium thus creating a lot more places for the cichlids to hide in. All of my fish look very healthy and aggression in my tank is low.

Can anyone please tell me what the 4th cichlid is?

It is not dark blue. It is pitch black.
