After spending many 'o' times wrestling with plants trying to get them into the substrate by hand I finally opted to buy some real planting tools. I've got along *fine* for nearly a year now but thought it was best to get the long awaited tools. I bought a selection of various length scissors and tweezers both angle and straight as well as a substrate leveller which I couldn't quite justify the price for but I thought I may as well.
Since purchasing I've looked through my cabinet which is filled to the brim with fertilisers, siphons, test kits and superglue but couldn't quite put my finger on what was the most useful out of them all. So I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone values as their most useful planted tank tool, besides their hands!
My most useful so far has been a purchase of 10 x 1ml syringes making life so much easier in measuring ferts, it is also much easier to tell someone else (girlfriend) how much to put it in rather than "yeh just put 'alf a cap in".
I'm hoping this thread might make people reveal some interesting tools of the trade that others might think... "Oh wow, I could do with one of those!".
