What To Stock With German Gold Head Rams?

Thank you, will check out some sites! I still have the java fern on the piece of bogwood and quite a few of the other plants (not sure what they are, see previous image).

Unfortunately I've made a big mistake. We did an algae clean and 50% water change two nights ago and I only realised tonight that I forgot to turn the heater back on.... The temperature went down from 26 to around 18.5 degrees but has gone back up to 20 by now. Will my fish be fine? I was actually saying to Stuart earlier today that the fish seem quite inactive and the corydoras didn't eat much but didn't realise at the time. I feel terrible now.

That is easily done. Hopefully they will all be ok, fingers crossed for you. The main thing is to increase it back up gradually, which you are doing.

No, not yet. Not managed to find any online and there are none in the stores around here at the moment...

Hmm yes I have not seen any around here for a while (apart from the girlies at the Abyss).

I did see some nice wild caught blue rams at World of Water in Altrincham yesterday though. They were around an inch long but seemed to show good traits of colour.

I was in the Ashton Maidenhead before and they had four gorgeous gold rams. They were some of the best I have seen and had really rich colours. Just thought that I would give you a heads up.

Not sure sorry as I have never kept them so unsure on sex. I watched them for around five mins though and they were swimming in two distinct groups. Hope they are still there for you as they looked cracking

I did see some on kesgraves ebay page the other day, but those ones at MA looked far nicer. Fingers crossed for you. How are your other fish and plants getting along? Did you make any changes?

Bad news. The Gold rams at MA are all males and the guy I spoke to at the Abyss tells me that they only get one sex (males) delivered to stop them from breeding them. They have got pairs of GBRs and electric blue rams though. Maybe I will go for them instead, as it seems quite unlikely that I will get 2 pairs of German Gold Rams?

I was in another shop this morning called Sanki Koi on Beresford Street in Failsworth and they had at least ten gold rams in. They looked pretty good aswell. Not sure of sex though. Might be worth a trip as its only fifteen mins from you.
