What fish would fit in a 60l fish tank, would a siamese fighter and neon tetras around 15 neon tetras a kribensis and a red tailed cat fish any other fish

red tailed cat fish will grow massive so no, if you want a betta then you have to ditch the neons, they will tear its fins apart.

if you want neons, wait till the tank has matured ( 6 months +)

what fish would you say would go in a a 60l fish tank, not the common guppies or plattes or guarmies

red tailed cats get 6 to 10 feet long1
go neons, but cycle the tank with something else, maybe1 danios1

Noooo don't cycle the tank with fish, please see details of the fishless cycle or use media from a mature tank :)

Red Tail Cats generally reach 4ft, not 6-10ft.

Madmorty - has the tank been cycled? If not, then read the fishless cycling pinned topic. If it has, then what type of fish do you like the look of?

My 60L is currently stocked with;

1 x Spotted Bulldog Pleco (L187a)
2 x Albino Cory (was 6x but some died :( )
1 x Female Guppy
1 x Male Guppy (juvenille runt)
4 x Guppy Fry
4 x Cardinal Tetras (was 6 but some died at same time as corys)
3 x Melanotaenia Praecox (Dwarf Rainbow Fish), (again there were more, but the same thing got them).

As long as you stick to the smallish fish you can have quite a selection and a nice bit of colour in there. I know some of my numbers are off now due to the losses, but this lot will be moving to a different tank with a bunch of new fish once the quarantine of the new fish is over :)

Mine has 3 oto cats, 6 cherry barbs, 12 ember tetras and 4 khuli loaches

mine did have

2 german blue rams ( need a mature tank)
12 neon tetras ( as above)
6 sterbai cories

Mine currently has
1X Betta
3X Albino Corys

I shall be getting 3 more Bronze Corys in a few weeks and will leave it at that for now.

Can defiantly recommend Corys. They are mad and very active, the first day I got them a film i was watching was ruined because I was far more interested in what they where doing shooting around the tank and digging up my sand :D

Mines a 54 litre but thats close enough. Ive got:

4 Guppies,
4 Platies,
2 German blue rams.

That tanks stocking is finished now so im currently setting up my second tank the same size, and I think ill just have a male betta and some shrimp in that one :)

What do you mean by cycled, there is already a couple of fish in the tank which are an albino shark and cat fish, I like the colours of the Jack Dempsey Cichlids

I've got a 60l tank as well and was just looking for the answer to this question. I think i'll start with a 6 Danio's as i've heard they are pretty tough and i'm very nervous about it all being such a noob! thinking then maybe some golden harlequins and some small cory's think thats about all there is room for really.
There is such a confusing amount of information about, its hard to know for sure but i think if i stick to 5-6cm fish then 15/16 should be ok?
As i'm so new to this i think i'm wanting to play on the safe side!

My tank has:
1xMoonlight Gourami
1xGolden Gourami
1xBumblebee Cat
6xSilver-tipped tetra

and about to add

2x oto affinisis?
