I just finished setting back up the 30 Gallon Long tank I have (36x15x12).

I have the sand, rocks, heater, etc...

I'm going to pick up Ammonia tomorrow to do a good cycle, but I have no clue what fish or plants (if any to put in it). Some help would be nice. :/

Fish? lol. I won't offer any selections though, because I don't know what you like, and I have an idea it isn't the kind of fish I like... :/

Fill me in, and then I'll see what I can think of...

Well, I still have a 55 Gallon (discus tank eventually) 45 Gallon Long, and 29 Gallon to play with.

I set this one up, and I'm currently just looking for ideas, any ideas. I don't know what I want. :/

That is why I posted here. :)

Well, catfish are cool, and eels... is it supposed to be a coldwater or tropical tank?

Tropical. Right now, with no heater on, it's holding 80.

Well, when I look at the pic of the tank I think eels and catfish, or something similar. Something prehistoric looking. I think a dragonfish would look cool in there, but I don't know if it would be too small of a tank. What kind of fish do you like having though? Colorful, mean, community? You have to at least give me some sort of idea... PLEASE !!! lol

And why would I give you ideas? That is what I am asking for :p

Umm, I do like colorful, but I also like Puffers, I would have to look up dragonfish (can't remember what they look like).

I would like more than one fish. If it's going to be only one fish, I would probably go with a puffer. :/

You could get pictus, they stay at a reasonable size, and you can keep them in groups if you want more than one. I'm not real big on all the smaller catfish... some sort of freshwater gudgeon would probably look cool. The butis butis look awesome, but they're really hard to find depending on where you live. That's what I was going to get for my tank, but I couldn't find one anywhere close to where I live. :( You could keep a few together depending on the type. Some gudgeons are colorful, the oddballs forum has all the info on gudgeons and the dragonfish.
