What To Look For

Hi,my male today made a bubblenest but it had broken up.So i put the bottom of a coke bottle in there to see if that would work.My question is:

my male keeps going up to the female flaring and going mad and then darting back under the bottle.And the female sometimes looks at him head down but other times goes mad aswell.When he builds a decent bubblenest is it worth trying them?I only have 2 balls of java moos in there though would that be fine? or do i need more?

one more thing.Should i leave the light on now or keep turning it off at night??

sorry for all questions but these are some wuestions i couldnt find answers to.

The males nest will break if the temperature of the air in the tank is different then the water temp, try putting a towel or something over the tank to keep the temps the same.

Type jim sonnier into your search engine. He uses waxed paper but a lot use half a polystryrene coffee cup taped with open end against glass.

I turn the lights off at night until the male has eggs, for the simple reason of once you release the female you don't want them to spawn when you're sleeping... that would be very bad if you couldn't take the female out right away.
