my mate has one for sale and i know they arent much good for many fish but i was wondering wether it would be ok for some micro rasboras , shrimps etc
its 1mtr tall by 25 cms accross

should be fine, but i would add a little power head to make sure there is loads of surface agitation. i wouldnt put cories in their though, pygmy or the bigger ones

lol, if it was me i wouldnt because of them breathing at the surface sometimes. mine struggled with 20"

my albinos and bronzes are in 24" and seem ok just dont want to push it though so doing more research i know they retreat to deeper depths in the wild

least you get to use one of your "spare " filters now

im sure you`ll find something suitable and make it lovely
shame those tanks cant be turned on there sides be a lot easier to stock lol

Don't know how you feel about angels but I believe they prefer deeper tanks - might be a bit narrow for them though.

dont think its wide enough i was just thinking of some of the micro rasboras with some corys if they could

I think 40" might be a bit too much for corys

Pygmy cories might work a little better than normal ones perhaps? They do like to swim in the upper levels so getting to the surface occasionally might not be such an issue for them?

already got a rio 125 to replace the rekord in the kitchen and another 18x10x10 in the kitchen
