Thanks for all the replys - will any of these be safe with dwarf shrimp - so sorry should have mentioned i have them

easy carbo and TPN+ is fine

thanks hun - will have to see how cheap i can get it when the plantamin runs out - plants still doing ok with the plantamin just with the nitrates starting to disappear quicker - i think i need something more

The problem i have is my nitrates are always reading 0 after 30 hours after a water change and my plants are doing well.

I was concerned about my nitrates being below 10. Posted a thread about it at another forum and found that nitrates become low when the plants use all that there is of nitrates in the tank.
