What To Do....

I really want to set up a freshwater invert tank with snails and shrimps, but am not sure what to do.

at the moment my snails and shrimps are scattered around several tanks. the snails and amano shrimps are in with my bettas and the atyas are in my community. I really want to combine all my inverts in one tank as with them scattered, i can't treat any tanks with copper based remedies in the event of disease. I can't set up another tank and can't shut down my community tank. what should I do?

So do you have a run down of which tanks you have and their sizes?

the betta tank is 20 litres, the community is around 120 litres. the bettas and shrimps can't go in the community tank as they'd be beaten up - even eaten. i want to put all the inverts into an invert only tank. however, my parents wont let me get another tank and this leaves the question of what to do with the bettas! anyone have any ideas?

well...may have to rehome if can not set up another tank.

where though. i'm not sure if it's a good idea to take them to the LFS. people may not care for them properly.

could always advertise in sale section on here for sale in relatively local area?

If you are unable to keep the bettas or other fish the best thing to do is too sell them. There are loads of different sites that could help you out. The sales for wanted section on here. or Preloved.com or the classifid in your area
