WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN ONE LEAF OF YOU AUBIAS IS GETTING COVERED WITH ALGAE?

What size tank do you have?

What fish do you have in the tank?

WHat color and texture is the algea?

Depending on the answers to these questions you could get some nice algea eaters like otos or amano shrimp.

Standard 55 Gallon.

Otos, black neons, bala shark, clown loaches, nugget pleco, red finned shark, blue rams, and silver dollars.

Just look like very small dark green spots to me. Wish I had a better answer.

I do have otos, and the shrimp would get eaten., I'd guess.

I have found that snails do a pretty good job of keeping algae off my anubus....make sure you get some which will not eat your plants though!!

i've had success taking them out of the tank and dipping them in a solution of flourish excel and tank water. Just scrub the leaves with a toothbrush and you should be good to go. I dont actually dose the tank because i have valis and crypts that i dont want to risk killing.

Thanks for that advice...I definitely will try this.
