Hear me out here. A few weeks ago my molly unexpectedly had fry and I have no idea what to do with them. Currently their in a .5 gallon with a Hornwort floating around. There's 10 of them and I've been feeding them crushed Top-Fin flakes which they've been eating. When they reach 1.5 inches the pet store will take them but currently they're 1 cm. But what should I do with them until then? I've done tons of research on how to breed Bettas but I have no ideas when it comes to mollies. Which of the above options seems best?

By the way I don't mind if nature takes it's course and a few get eaten.

How about... none of the above? O.o

If put with betta and other fish, they might get eaten (especially by betta who might consider shifting through plants). They're too tiny at 1 cm, even if they cannot be swallowed in a gulp, they will be torn to pieces. -.-
If kept in 0.5 gal, the fry won't develop properly.
If you want them to survive and grow fast, a 5 gal would be good.

None of the above as Fishblast said.
You could divide the 10 gallon & put them in there for a week or so

So what do I do after the week of dividing? I could give them a 2-3 gal section in the 10 gal. I could put them in the 10 gal and use some airline tubing for the fish to hide in. There's a floating Hornwort and others. Kind of in a pickle here.

How long would it take for them to grow to 1.5in in a 3-5 gal divided section?

Too many variables... to take in account.

There's food, there's amount of water changes, then space for exercise... 5 gal section would work for them, 3-4 times a day feed with flakes and as frequent as you can with the water changes.

I could do water changes every day or every second day. I feed them 3 times a day.

Here's the tank to help cut out most variables:

Tank Parameters (Tested during water change once half of new water was in so results may not be entirely accurate but the look pretty much the same as 2 days ago).
KH: 120PPM
GH: 120PPM
pH: 7-7.5
Nitrite: 0PPM
Nitrate: 20PPM
It's amazing how well the tank stabilized after it cycled. Also, I love doing water tests just to see the Nitrite say 0PPM after the cycle I just did...

Space the fry will get per gallon:
2 inches long (Increases by 2 inches per gallon up to 20 inches)
10 inches wide
12 inches high

Fed (Whichever brand you think is better):
Top-Fin Tropical Flakes Crushed 3 times a day
or
Tetra Min Tropical Flakes Crushed 3 times a day

Temperature:
81F

Plants:
1 Plastic
1 Floating Hornwort

Filter:
Aqua-Tech 5-15
