Have had my new tank set up and running of just over a month now and was wondering about few things
1) Have I got enough flow for my planted tank?
I have a Eheim biopower 200: size 100 200 litre output 210-650l/h and a BOYU Submersible Pump model: SP102-1200, power 19W Hmax 10N - Qmax 1200L/H running at the moment
2) How long is it wise to wait before getting some fish in and what fish are best for a first timer?
I would love a Zebra Catfish and possibly some Zebra Otocinclus, Pearl Gourami and some Clown Loachs. I am looking for community fish for my 128 litre tank.
So far the tanks is doing well (I think) some of the plants have noticeable growth, the only problem is some hair and brown algae (from what I can make out) on some of the plants and wood. I also have some tiny snails that I noticed one day after my last lot of plants were put in.
Here is some tank info:
Width 20" Depth 16" High 19"
Temp 25-26C
PH 7.6
All help is greatly appreciated.
