Hi

In my main tank, 90x30x30 i currently have a salfin pleco, zebra danios, neon tetras and white cloud mountain minows.

I want to add 2 more fish, but all of the above are fairly small. I want a decent sized fish to complement the ones i currently have.

Please give me some suggestions.

Thanks

sounds like you are fully stocked now imo, that sailfin will get BIG!

Hi so thats a 3x1x1 foot tank, honestly you need to rehome the sailfin plec its going to get way to big for that tank. It will get to at least 1 foot long so as tall and wide as your tank. I would swap him for a bristlenose or ideally a bulldog plec. What are the numbers with the danio, tetras and wcmm? Ideally you want at least 6 of each, if we take it you have 6-8 of each you still have room to add a few medium feature fish, say for example gourami. I think orange thick lipped gourami would look really good in this tank or a pearl gourami could work pretty nice. Keyhole cichlids would be pretty nice as would bolivian rams. But first thing to do is get rid of the sailfin plec

Some type of gourami maybe?
Or an angel?

How bigs your pleco? Coz it will grow fairly big :)

The salfin is about 5cm at the mo. The kids and I are very attached to him, so I would want to hold onto him for a while longer.

Anything other than gourami's, I fancy somthing that would be the "star attraction".

take your plec back.

and get a snowball plec grow to 7 or 8 inches lovely looking fish aswell, very slow growing fish to.

the sailfin will be twice the size in a couple of months.

Google what wills said, bolivian rams and keyhole cichlids.... see if you like the look :)

After abit more research, I'm not sure if my pleco is sailfin or common!

How can I tell?

Does this make a difference to the above?

Bolivian rams ordered, will be in my lfs tomorrow!!! Assuming they are in stock.

Cheers guys, my eyes have been opened to dwarf cichlids world!!
