What To Add To My Tank?

Can anyone help me decide? I am going to add more fish to my tank and i cannot decide what to get. At the moment i have:

1 pleco
1 white balloon molly
7 neon tetras
1 big yellow gourami
3 tiger barbs

Need help...Cant Choose...

Also i need to think about what will get on with my tiger barbs and wont bully my neons please help

get a few more tiger barbs to make at least 6.they should leave everything else alone.what about odessa barbs?? i bought 6 a couple of days ago.beautiful fish.odessa barbs are much more placid than the tiger barb so should get on with everything in the tank.

Personally I would go with more Tetras, Lemon Tetra for example, but not the ones with long flowing fins, or you could go with some Harlequins.

How big is your Tank?
How many fish were you thinking of adding and what sort of size?

Not entirely sure of the size but it is quite big maybe wanted to add 4 or 5 fish.

You realy need to work out the volume of your tank. If you could measure it and post dimensions someone could help you out. Just randomly adding fish without knowing your gallonage could result in your over-stocking the tank. What are your nitrAte readings right now (just before a water change)? Anyway, the fish you add should be to complete your tiger barb school first of all as you should have at least 6. If your plec is a common it'll outgrow most average-sized tanks and is a very high waste producer which should be re-homed once it reaches about 6" in size. You also need to specify what sort of gourami you have. Exactly how big is it and is it a uniform yellow or does it have a pattern to it? I'd guess it's either a thick-lipped gourami (colisa labiosa) or a gold gourami (trichogaster trichopterus).

Personally, with the fish you got, I'd get some Serpae Tetras. They are my all time ultamite favorite fish! (Other than male bettas)

Hi i measured my tank and the lenght is 3 foot long and the width 14 inches. I am not sure how to work out my gallonage etc please help.Adding some type of tetras seems to be a popular choice so when i know if it is ok to add more fish i will go with some tetras thanks for the help so far i just need a little more help to work out how much water etc i have!

It is a male yellow honey gourami, but compared to others i have seen he is quite BIG. Hope this helps bakerboi>

If the tank was mine and big enough, I would take at least 3 more tiger barbs and 3 more neontetras.

hi, i worked out my tank is a 35 gallon does anyone know how many more more fish i can add along with the ones i have (see below)
