Is it a nylon thread with a fork tail as it looks like achor worm to me.

It looks like a qoiled white worm like but dose not have a forked end, will try to get some better pics...

I'm sure i have heard of a cork screw parasite try a search, while i try and find some info.

no no, if you go to the link below you will find 2 more pic's, one being from my atempt to net him to bring up for a close pic (but deemed to stressfull) and was left in the net (nothing similare to the pics of the anchor worm, its green in colour and looks like poop, the second is a larger pic form the film i took befor (about 20 mins ago, camera not working to well)

So if i'm understanding right it has now come off the fish.

what ever was atached is now on a pice of paper.

Also can you check to see if you can see an inflamed puncture marks where it was on the fish, that will tell us if it was a parasite.

no not from what i can see, it was jut infront of his main whit marking and lookd notmal to meno holes, punctures or inflamed.

Was it green in colour been looking at hole in the head and lateral line but it usually a yellow mucas.

to be completly honist it looks like poop not its out of the tank and on some paper, hense the posts above, but why it was atached to his chin i know not
