I have three very docile mollies 1 male two female. 1 Male Cross Breed Mickey Mouse Platy. (need 2 females), 1 Catfish, I added 8 Neon Tetras about 2 months ago I have had no issues. I added 3 Ruby Nose Tetras, 1 month ago, Still no Problems.

2 weeks ago I added 3 male Guppies.

Last night I have no Idea what happen. Turned off Aquarium Light @ 9pm

Woke up @ 5:30am 1 Guppy, 2 Neon Tetras are dead. Tales are missing,

And a ruby nose is now pink and hiding in the corner.

Looked like a fight broke out over night. Is it possible.

I know the mollies never chase the smaller neon's and guppy.

Could the guppy and neon's be fighting?

What are your water tests showing? It's possible that the fish could have died due to poor water and were nibbled at during the night after they died.

The guppy had nips on tail.

I just did 15% water change on Sat.

Cleaned larger filter on Sunday.

I must purchase a new test. I stepped on the glass container and broke it. (yes I know)

But there are no other indications of stress or trouble fish are all out doing their thing. And all where playing before I shut light.
