hi, i have a breeding pair of kribs that have had 3 successful spawns up until now. not too many fry have survived from each spawn. from the first spawn there are 5 fry, from the second i'm not sure because they hide in the plants a lot and the third batch only hatched the day before yesterday so there are still over a hundred. what i've been wondering is what size do they need to be before i can sell them? the first batch are about 1" now and are just starting to mature. there are 2 definite males and the others are hard to tell ATM. do you think the first lot are big enough to sell yet, or do they need to be a bit bigger? should i wait until all are matured and can be sexed? and what price do you think i'd get for them? i'm thinking maybe £1 each?

cheers :good:

1" seems a reasonable size to sell them at. Compare it to the size of say... neons and yeh. Definitely big enough. I'm not sure how much you'll get. But a fair price is anything around 1/3 of the price the shop will sell them at (unless you're selling privately?) in which case 1/2 the price of the shops is fair imo.

You can sell the at 1 inch. Depending on how much your store sells them for, you can make inbetween 1.50 and 2.50 a piece.
