What Size Of Filter And How To Work It Out

hey im interested in starting a 6ft tropical tank its going to be a community tank with guppies mollies angels etc with live plants basic stuff but im unsure what size of external filter i need and which brand is best. can any one help please also what are peoples most interesting fish they have as im lookin fish a little outta the ordinary so all comments are welcome

Aim for 5-10x the capacity if the tank.

Ie. 60l (15gal) you'd want a filter in the range 300-600lph (75gph - 150gph)
