What Size Of External Filter For My Rio 125

i currently have a juwel 1000lph powerhead filter in my tank along with a fluval u2,what size of external filter would i need to give me the same turnover rate that my two internals give me.

What turnover is the u2? Add that number to the 1000 from the other one, and there's your answer.

But also remember that turnover rate is NOT everything. Media volume is also a key factor for bio filtration.
An Eheim 2217, for example, has "only" a flow rate of 1000lph, but has a media volume of about 6 litres or so, which is massive compared to equivalent flow rate internal filters.

For your 125 litre tank I'd be looking for an external with a flow rate of about 600-800 lph.
