what should the GH and KH be and how do you change from ppm to degrees, please read my profile for more info on my tank

pH 7.5
nitrate 20
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
KH 140ppm
GH 280ppm

unless you have a pH that declines over time or you want to breed your fish, i wouldn't worry about changing the gH/kH.
