I've been told I can get sand for my aquarium at B&Q, but was wondering what type of sand does it have to be to be suitable for my tank once i've washed it alot? will there be anything specific on the pack to tell that it ok as I dont want to accidentally buy building sand lol our is it just any type of play sand ? thanks

play sand.. argos. b&g. morrisons. asda.

i dont mean to be rude but there is another 100 threads on this. research is the key. everything cannot be handed to you.

i was not asking where to get it from. I was asking what specific type of sand it had to be. and there is lots of info but its all conflicting there should be stickys telling people this. Cause if there was a sticky about diffrent types of sand and where to get it from in links, people would not have to keep asking.

As I was saying lots of conflicting info on the threads I choose, and wastes lots of time. A sticky would be alot easier
