Great too know i could help i could just see so many questions firing back and forth and it was getting all complicated. So thought id try and help a little I have done exactly that before, Transferred my fish over too a new larger aquarium, And mine was mid fish in cycle too .

I always thought tranfering 50% water was a good idea. But doesent seem too matter after reading all the above
