Hi Georgina

Firstly I'm unsure if frogs and Parrot fish are compatible with plants. I'm not saying they cannot be kept together, it's just I've never seen planted tanks with them in. Might be worth doing some research - or does anyone here know?

Your tank holds around 43 US Gallons with 152W total light giving you almost 4 Watts per Gallon. This is a lot of light, especially for a beginner to the planted hobby.

I recommend you run half your lighting with reflectors to start with.

Aim for a stable 25-35ppm CO2 level.

Plant heavily with fast growing stem plants.

As I mentioned in the PM you need to read and understand the pinned threads on lighting, CO2, fertilisation and algae. If you don't understand anything in these articles specifically then feel free to ask furthur questions.

Please do not space your posts out so much with numerous blank lines between each sentence. This may sound trivial but it makes the post harder to read and will reduce the likelyhood of getting replies.

Good luck and Merry Christmas!
