I am planning on getting a small cube tank, smaller than 5 gallons. I want this tank solely for plants, no fish. I want some plants that will grow tall out of the water so I can avoid c02 injection. It will be lit by a desk lamp with a full spectrum bulb, I can get any wattage preferd by the plants. I am unsure whether I will use a heater, I am kinda leaning towards cold water plants.

a few questions for this tank:

Will any type of circulation be needed? What would happen without any circulation?

does anyone know where you can purchase cube aquariums online?

I want to avoid c02 injection so I want plants that will grow out of the water, but what will happen to plants that will remain completely submerged? what will happen to them under high-very high lighting?

I understand Cabomba furcata is very difficult to care for, but does this plant grow out of the water? Are there any other attractive plants like this that will grow out of the water?

thanks for reading.
