I hear a lot that people use Krylon Fusion for plastic spray paint. Im interested in a blue background but what blue to use? Navy, Patriotic blue or just blue? So if all you awesome members could post pics of your tanks with your blue background and state what color blue and what brand of paint you used would be so helpful! Thanks again everyone! I have just joined this site about a week ago and I know I can always count on everyone when I have a question! thanks!

i would personally buy some of the coloured plastic and sellotape it to the back of the tank, then if you change your mind it can be easily changed.

mine is blue one side and black the other, i use the black side.

I sometimes paint the back of my tanks, and I use Krylon flat black (dark blue looks great too). It gives a very clean and even look with no shine or wrinkles. If you change your mind later, you can get the paint off with a razor blade easily since flat paint doesn't stick to glass very well.

You still have to empty the tank though; if you use a backing of some kind, you can change it any time with the tank still full :)

hmm that is true is i use backing that would be better I have a 180 gallon tank so i would not want to have to go through that lol good ides thanks for all your opinions!
