If you look closely, you can see the eggs between the abdomen and the rest of the body.

The larvae would most likely develop in the open ocean. They cannot be bred in captivity. The production of eggs shows that your crab is healthy though. :good:

There's videos online of baby crabs and larvae in a freshwater breeding tank :good:. Just cant find them again!

I saw one crab the morning at the front of my tank before the lights went on, and I was one a few days before eating a a baby tadpole snail.

It's good to know mine are still there and healthy, but I'd like to see them more :rolleyes:.

I hope they are getting on with business. From the looks of that pic, I don't think I'd be able to see if one was carrying eggs at first glance.
