Im thinking of this plant list for my 35l:

water wisteria x2
vallis x2
hygrophila x1
camboba x1
java moss x2
hc cuba x2

11w bulb, plant substraite, liquid fert, tablets, co2 injector with cannister.

What matience? would they all need the tablets etc.

my plants all grow fine without ferts, only homemade Co2 lol, and good lighting =)

i suppose you could place a few tablets in if you want ^^

So they should be ok with just the co2 injector? and say 1 dose of liquid furt once a week :) ?

the hc cuba wont grow with that light, you will need another 11w for it to do well.

theres 2 ways you can go:

low maintinance:

lower light-11watts
less easycarbo-about 1ml a day
less tpn+-about 1.5ml a day
low light plants, vailis, cambomba, crypts, ferns, mosses, anubias
less cutting needed becuase the plants grow slower

higher maintancance:
higher light-22watts
easycarbo @ 1.5ml a day
tpn+ @ 2-2.5ml a day
nicer plants, such as hc cuba, p.helferi, blyxa, rotala.
more growth due to higher light, fert dosing and co2 = more cutting

plus both of that list would need some type of nutritious substrate, like tropica plant substrate, and then wack some sand or fine gravel on top

good luck

so would

water wisteria x2
vallis x2
hygrophila x1
camboba x1
java moss x2

work with the lighting etc. i have now?

It says about 14ml every 2 weeks is that right? So its basically 1mil a day then I would put the odd tablet next to some roots every now and again.

so is the co2 injector needed?

you could probably get away with no c02 in a lowerlight tank, so try without and it should be fine

im not sure about the fert you have, so can comment on how much to add daily, but whatever fert it is daily is best, little and often

Well, I will start with 1ml a day and see how it goes :good:

Do you think I should use the co2 injector or not?

try without and see how it goes. another choice for substrate could be clay cat litter, although i have never tried it its supposed to be very good(and cheap) becuase it takes some of the nutrients out of the water and holds them over a long period of time so that the roots of the plants can get it... but you have to make sure the cat litter is 100% clay if you are going to use it, no chemicals or frangrances..

good luck mate

That Colombo stuff contains no nitrates or phoshates, doubt it will be very good tbh...

Urghh! Even the substrate?

So im guessing I need new substraite + ferts. How much would that cost?
