What Main Fish Could I Have

my 39gal looks abit bare at the mo, i have 3 bolivian rams, 2 plecos, 3 peppered corys, 3 platies and some hornwort and vallis.
i was just wondering what fish could i have, that doesn't make the tank look so bare?

most of the fish i have dont go past the middle only the platies

i need a good fish that will patrol the top and isn't aggressive and is pretty colorful.
got any ideas?

An angel fish would look nice, may not go near the top but a top dweller might be danios too.

How about a group of hatchet fish, i have marbled hatchets and they are great, you need a tight fitting lid though.

I second adding a school of tetras... congos or any other type would be great.
