well i think wat he means is wat kind of regular mollys do u breed to get baloons . i think baloons r a mollly species of their own but i could b wrong, it may just be a bred out deformity.

i know for a fact that balloon mollys are their own kind of molly u cant make balloon mollies by breedin regular mollies

its kinda hard to tell from the picture but it looks like a ballon female that is gravid I have a breeding pair of marble baloon mollies and the female is definately rounder (and wider) than the male.. I also heard somewhere that you get balloon mollies to get "ballooned" with a special food but I don't feed mine any and they still look like balloons!
