What Kind Of Fish Would Be Best For My Tank?

i have a 35 gallon hexagon tank i would like to know what would be the best kind of fish for this tank, i would like to have larger fish but not huge, and what is a cheap way to decorate this kind of tank?

you may keep neon and cardinal tetra,danio,platy,remi rezi,2 cory...
for decoration you may add diferent types of plants like..anubias sp,hornwort,anacharis,echinodorous,java moss.

what is the hardness level of the water? pH?

i would suggest narrowing down the selection based on things like that. i've noticed it also helps introduce you to different types to get the ideas flowing

You have to be careful stocking a tank like this. It holds a good amount of water, but there isn't alot of surface area for gas exchange. Even though it's a 35 gallon tank, you wouldn't want to put more than 17 inches of fish in it.

Some smaller tetras or rasboras would be ideal IMO.

It looks taller than 17" so I think a pair of angels would look very nice in there!
