What Kind of fish are these?

I've seen these fish before but never seen a name for them!! They also have a black stripe that runs down the length of them that didnt show up in the pic! (It took 30 pics to get them to be still!!!!!)

In my LFS they were labled silver sharks but they dont look like the regular ones I've seen with the black and yellow tails also known as bala sharks.
The guy in the shop said they wud be fine in a semi-agressive aquarium so we got them on the grounds of what he said. (he's never been wrong yet)
Edit: They are about 5inches in length from nose 2 tail.

Any clues and good info on habits, keeping, treats, breeding, water stats?

There most definatly not silver sharks...im thinking maybe a pencil fish? i dont know 5 inches seems big for a tetra
 
To big to be tetra I think.
The are already 5 inches long!

Bit blurred (fast little buggers)but u get the scale of things.
 
do a search on cigar sharks..im pretty confident its one of those.

theres a salt water shark called that aswell, which is a true shark..dont get them confused ;)

Yep! Thats them!!!

They are a perfect excuse to get a new tank when they get bigger 2!!!

I like the way you think I think 2!!

I get to buy more of them 2! They like schools of 5-6!!! Just gets better!!
They are rly nice fish!!! V active and you shopuld see them eat!!! Sharks is what they is!!!!
