What Is Your Daily Light Cycle

To add my two penneth

I have just my pink tube on in the morning 6am-7am
Then full light 7am-8am

Then off til 5pm

5pm-10pm full light
10pm-11pm just pink light again and fed

I do it for me really so that I get to see the fish when I;m around most. Knocking the lights down at night is great - they go nuts cos they know it's food time and the pink light really shows the colours off on the neons and gouramis.

Plants are flourishing but I'm starting to get a bit of green algae on the bogwood. Maybe I need to increase the CO2 or reduce light a bit in the evening. Prob doesn't help that the room is so light in summer months

Because I have seen the exact same picture on the seachem website.

On another note although I have no idea what the exact name of the plant(s) I have are. I am pretty sure that they are hardy. Prior to putting them in the aquarium I had them in a bucket for roughly two weeks with no c02 injection or nutrients of any kind and they did quite well.

Now that they are in the aquarium with T5 light source and liquid carbon they are doing even better.
