Update:
I let her into the tank with Windsong (my boy)
HE flared, and chased her, she ran for her life, but kept the bars. She hasn't lost them, but she is losing colour at times. He let his bubblenest fade (or pop, as I should say) It has gotten really thin, and he isn't taking care of it. Sometimes he even stops persueing her. There does not seem to be much desire... Is their a way to get them going? Maybe should I put another female into the breeding box?

id split them up out of sight from each other for a couple of days and feed them up (sounds like he needs it) and then try again

I agree try reconditioning them and then try again!

the male sounds like he lacks energy and enthusiasm, conditioning him further should help. and the female sounds like shes just ready and no more, s it can only help to feed her up again for a couple of days.
