She got skinny, her top head looks slouched or humped and it looks like her scales are slightly sticking out when i look closer. My water stats are fine. How do i cure?

She does look rather underweight, i would personally suspect internal parasites or internal bacteria is to blame for her skinnyness.

should i seperate her and feed her internal parasite meds? or shoul di treat the entire tank?

Personally i would treat the entire tank as other fish may have just got what she has but are not yet showing symptoms- i would treat the tank for internal parasites first (medicated foods are always good) and if this doesn't make a difference, try treating the tank with anti internal bacterial meds  .

gel-tek ultra cure px is for internal parasites tho, maradel isn't, maradel 1 is only for external.

...parasitic and bacterial are two different things...

You need to determine which of these two problems you have (or you may actually have both in your tank).

Internal parasites do alot of damage to the internal organs resulting in bacterial infections.
The gel tek do you have to redose as some parasites are egg layers and the first dose only kills the adult parasites, you have to redose to kill the young.

what is teh cause of this parasites, this just happened over night. one day she was fine the next day she is skinny. I do a gravil clean once a week removing 25% of water, a scrub down of the glass, and every few months i clean the filter to insure there is no gunk on the spondge inside. I have ..

4 cardinal tetra's
3 dwarf gourami's
6 platies (which includes her)
1 swordtail's
6 mollies or so

30gal tank has been runing for almost 2 years now. I 'am soon to remove some mollies and platies to reduce the numbers in the tank. There is also a 60pump aeration stone in there which moves teh water surface a whole lot lol.

What is the best way to stop infections from happening all together what are the steps to take. I have a quarinteen tank but all my fish have turned out okay after 3 weeks of in there. Then suddely they get sick with the switch over to the main tank. What s the cause shock?

Well, it might not be a parasitic problem that your fish has.

Is your fish showing any other symptoms, apart from looking thin? Is the belly sunken in? Is it eating normally? Swimming ok (not off-balance)? Any fin rot appearing or bulging eyes? Rapid breathing/gill movement? Anything else that doesn't seem normal to you?

There are lots of things that cause a fish to become thin - yes, it could be internal parasites, or a fungal infection, or bacterial (or a combination of any of those). But unless you can see any other obvious symptoms that might help pinpoint the cause, any suggested treatment will be based on a guess.

Also, the longer the fish is left without treatment the less chance it has of survival, unfortunately, and also the higher the risk of cross-contamination to other fish in your tank.

her fins look clamped near the bottum, belly is thin, scales look pale in color, there is slightly heavy breathing, she is just floating at the surface atm, and i guess cus she is thin her eyes appear odd.

okay it seems it maybe fish TB, but everything else i read sounds like it could be something else too. lol. I'm so confused. Today is day 3 on feeding them the geltek internal parasite med, after that the treatment is over. it is a 3 day twice a day treatment.

See how they go with the parasite med first.
If things don't improve then its fish tb.
Minocycline or tetracycline for fish tb.
