What Is Up With This Plant?

Hey everyone,

All the leaves on the lower half of this plant are dieing, They have been in my tank since it was set up and have been fine up intill now! should I remove the whole plant or just remove the dead leaves?

Remove the lower leaves and trim the stems. It is something that alot of stem plants tend to do in my experience.

Ok, so I should remove the plants, trim the stems down to where the leaves are dead (or leave an inch or two) then re plant?

Yeah. I believe it is a sort of melt.

Ok, also my Crypts have grown new leaves and the older bigger leaves seem to gone lighter and look dead.

Should I also trim these off and allow the new leaves to take over? Same with my Amazon Swords, the older leaves are going see through but the new leaves look fine.

Yeah the Crypts new growth will be fine, Trim the old leaves off too
