hey i have platys and some are acting very strange they are really thin and i can see there bones! they are pooping out worms ive tried to treat them but nothing seems to help heres a pic of a male who has it he died yesterday.

Can't see your pic. If they are callamanus worms, you have a serious problem. Highly infectious and high mortality rate. The worms can be killed using a horse dewormer, I think it's called Levimasole(spelling?). I think it's difficult to get. Anyway, if you are at the point where you can see bones, it may be too late. This will infect your entire tank. If I were you, I would consider starting the tank over again. It will have to be sterilized. If you have other fish in the tank that don't seem to be infected, they have to be qt'd ASAP! You can euthanize with clove oil. If you have a strong stomach, you can end it with blunt force.

Good luck

Here is a website that explains how to use the clove oil.
