Hi
smile.png

I bought this plant today, I was told it was hardy and would last a while as I know that some of the plants you buy aren't supposed to be for aquariums !

But I don't know what it is and as it looks like it has been cut as there are no roots, I now have my doubts that it is an actual aquarium plant.

Do you know what it is ?

Attached is a photo of it.

Thanks !

Jo.

The only thing that springs to mind, sadly, is Hemigraphis exotica, which is sadly indeed non-aquatic. Lovely bog garden plant though.

Thanks DrRob, but I don't think it's that. The leaves for the hemigraphis exotica look different to my leaves. Mine are smooth and thin, the other looks thick and bubbly.

It's a new one on me, but it looks spot on, sadly non-aquatic.
