What is this on my Anacharis?

I'm doing a water change and found something hanging off an Anacharis root. What is this?
Pardon the pics. The water is a little stirred up from the sand vacuuming and water change.

Hmmm I haven't bought and snails and I disinfected my plants. I haven't seen any either.
Do you know what kind of snails?

Those are the roots of the plant. If you look closely, they have fine "hairs" at the end of each root. What you're seeing is the sand sticking to those fine hairs, completely normal.
