Guppies, when I bought a pair the female was already pregant, I did not know this until later that day when I say fry all over the place. Mollies too, just put a male and female to gether and wait(Usally not that long)

I agree guppies.

I dont evne have a male, and I get babies every month like clock work.

Yes, female guppies and mollies can store sperm inside them so they only need to be impregnated once.

Lol, livebearers arn't easy to breed! they're simple! Good luck breeding your mollies!

Any Livebearer is very easy, for you first egg laying fish I would recommend White Cloud Moutain Minnows or Danios. :)

I must be useless then. I've got 4 platies (2 male 2 female!) and they've never bred!!!!!!!  Either that or they have and I've never seen it and all my Tiger Barbs eat the fry!!!

Any ideas why your guppys have such a high mortality rate?

rvm: to encourage breeding, the female to male ration should be greater. In my 10 gallon, I have three females to one male.

Eve: maybe it is because they are bred so much :dunno:
