what is the correct temperature for a tropical tank with fishlike platys ,corys neons

I would say about 23-24C would be spot on for all of them as the Platys and Corys will appritiate the slightly lower temps and the Neons will also be fine at these temps.

26C will be fine but Platys and Corys do tend to like it on the lower side of 25c so i would go for about 24c. Its only 2c difference so it should be fine just to drop down in one because it will take the tank a while to cool anyway.

thamks ill knock the temperature down to 24,thankyou :good:
