Hi there
All you need is
1. 2 litre plastic fizzy drinks bottle (empty!) and cap
2. Approx. 3 metres of 6 mm airline
3. Dried yeast
4. Sugar
5. Teaspoon
6. Silicon sealant
Drill a 6mm hole on the bottle cap.
Insert airline approx. 4cm through cap.
Use sealant to make airtight seal around cap and airline - allow 24 hours to dry.
Now for the recipe. Depending on how much CO2 you want depends on how much yeast you need.
Fill bottle with 400 grams of sugar.
Fill with 1.6 litres of tepid (around 30C) tap water.
Yeast varies from 1/4 teaspoon to 2 teaspoon depending on tank size.
I'd start with 1/2 teaspoon and keep an eye on your pH. To measure CO2 you need a pH and KH test kit. Use a CO2 table (one in my sig) to find your level. You need 20-35ppm (mg/l). More than 35ppm may cause problems with your fish.
You should see CO2 output after an hour or so. You'll need some sort of diffuser to allow the CO2 to stay in the water.
Be careful with CO2. Bottles can explode if there's a blockage. You my want to use a check-valve to ensure no yeast mixture enters the tank water. Keep a close eye on the pH as mentioned. Find out your KH so you know what pH level is safe.

i read in pseud you need 3 bottles ?? nvm ok so ill look on ebay for some air tube and some yeast lol

Airline is cheap from your LFS. Yeast is less than £1 from a supermarket.

What size tank and lighting do you have (tube size, make and model?)
CO2 will benefit all plants at all lighting levels but to really get good results you will need arounds 2 Watts per Gallon of fluorescent lighting with reflectors.
Both these plants will grow very well with this lighting level and CO2.
If increasing your lighting levels is not an option then adding a decent reflector will help.

well details are as follows:
LIGHT: Arcadia Original Tropical FO25 "The Plant Growth Lamp" (thats what it says on the bulb then recyclable but thats not very interesting)
TANK: 26 - 28 UKG
The lid is a reflective white colour s i think it might reflects the light in

sorry! I have heard people say that they use the ladder that comes with Nutrafin CO2 natural plant system ( click here and scroll down) but I was wondering if there was anything else that can be used as I haven't been found a ladder on its own anywhere.

The nutrafin units are very good and easy to use.
You can get reactors on there own, somthing like this - http

Another way depending on the type of filter you have, is to run the co2 into the inlet of your filter and let the filter do the work(also less crud inside your tank)
