What Is The Age Of An Adult Platy?

I have 30-40 Platies which I have bred - the majority being around 3-4 months old. A local pet shop said they will buy them from me, but only when they are an adult size.

They are growing quickly, but are some way off the size of an adult Platy just yet. Wonder if you could tell me what age would you classify a Platy as being an adult? I know I have to wait till they have grown sufficiently, but are we talking years here?

I though 3-4 months was sellable age,but as i havent had any fry to that age yet i cant tell you..Are u juvis as big as the platies are at the LFS (i bought 2 platies yesterday and they are just over 1.5" and fully coloured

I'd sell mine at about 3 1/2 months usually if I did sell them as adults

I originally had 3 adults and sold them and they were 3-4 times bigger than the 3-4 month old Platies that remain.
