Basically I've added my pleco to my larger tank now, and instead of residing in her driftwood as she usually does.. she's now extremely active, which is great! However 70% of the time she's attached to an assassin snail.. I have 3 of them, she does the same to all of them.
She's a long-finned bristlenose, I didn't know if it was in their character to eat the snail?
The reason I'm worried she could be eating them is because she flips them onto their back and it not only sucking the shell, but sucking the actual body of the snail from the underside. I've even seen her lifting the snails up while they're attached to her mouth and moving them around.
What on earth is she doing?
