it's just a wild type of guppy.

As your in Hawaii I'm guessing you found then in a pool or something?
As they would of been introduced a mosquito eater.

k so is it just a wild guppy? cause i caught it in a ditch that has had them for over 60 yrs

Definitely not an endler. I would guess a feral guppy by the tail length. Domesticated guppies had been bred to have tails about that long by the late 1950s but wilds are a bit shorter than that.
